ordered an ipad and a camera lightening response also yodel delivered the next morning and that was when I was still having my breakfast.so in the words of john Travolta him self go . grease lightning .100 percent happy with both very and yodel oh and royal mail.
The best thing about very is their next day delivery on all products. However, this is on useful if you actually want to buy their products. I find myself using them less and less due to the quality and price. I feel there is loads more websites with better choice and quality and reasonably proved as well. Only really use very now for sale items & convenience.
I ordered my first products around Xmas time last year and had an awful experience with the couriers Yodel. Didn't deliver my items on the Saturday that I had requested, tried to re-arrange to my work address and was told I couldn't, spent god knows how much phoning up Customer Services and in the end I had to collect from the local depot. When I arrived there staff were rude and miserable!! I've since discovered the collect + option where I can get my items delivered to my local shop and its much easier!
Very themselves though I find are great, clothes always fit and are in good condition. Price range is good too! If they changed their delivery couriers it would be better :)
We ordered a Nook at a birthday present. After 2 weeks I rang up to ask when it would be delivered and they replied 'this Thrusday'. Late on Wednesday (ie the date it was due to be dispatched) Very rang me to announce a 2 week delay "due to our suppliers".
Surely they knew earlier that there was no stock.
I asked for an assurance that there would be no more delays and they couldn't give me one.
So what value does Very add in all this?
Shopping with Very is beyond frustrating. I have put off buying from the site previously simply because the website is so incredibly slow. I wish I didn’t like some items so much that I actually attempted to order some goods. You have to select a delivery date and time for each item (where is the tick box to say you want all your items delivered to the same place?) It would not accept my Flat OR work address. I could not enter a mobile number for the delivery address.
And then we get on to the delivery…..I selected Saturday 07:00 – 12:00. At 12:15 I check the website and it says there was no access to the building…..incorrect. Nobody rung me, the door bell did not ring. I phoned CS and was on the phone for 21 minutes (on hold for 10 of those) and I supplied the address for my work as I would not be at home during the day, and told delivery would occur on Monday to this new address. On Monday I check the website to see where my order is and it says that a card was left at the address as nobody was home – this was not the new address I supplied! When I rung CS again I was informed that the new address I supplied was not within their delivery radius (Chertsey in Surrey just outside the M25???? – hardly the middle of nowhere!) I have now arranged delivery to my boyfriends work address for Tuesday. Fingers crossed it arrives because apparently if not the goods are returned and the order cancelled.
At no point was I contacted about these issues with delivery, it is only because I can access the internet that I realized there were problems. My delivery charge was removed from the bill so some good came out of it.
All around a Very annoying experience. I only hope that the items fit so that I do not have to go through the hassle of returning the goods!

I have had to email Yodel this new address as I cannot give it to them over the phone, the only way they can get a new address is via email or from Very…..VERY DIDN’T DO THIS! Maybe it will be 4th time lucky now that I have sent them a new address via email. Right now I am just amazed at how awful this transaction has been!!
The only downside to thing with buying from Very is sometimes the stuff dosent suit but Very make is so easy to send it back thats no problem! Ive been using Very for over a year now and every purchase has been delivered next day, always left in the right place, great value and i love the convinience of it. Take 3 is a great concept so your not being charged interest on the things u buy! They are always introducing new lines and keeping the stuff i love! Overall Very is great and takes the stress out of shopping!!!!

I am so disappointed right now - I am due to start a new job in 2 days and purchased 3 dresses 2 weeks ago and they have not yet arrived. I paid £4.95 for next day delivery (between 9-12) and waited until 2pm only to then find out that the couriers 'could not locate address'. How ridiculous is this. They could have checked Google maps or called me to check the exact location if they were having trouble. Its not even a difficult flat to locate. I'm not sure whether it's the workers at Very that are incompetent at organising redelivery and sorting this out or the couriers are... or perhaps both.
Since then I have exchanged about 9 emails with Very trying to sort out re-delivery but for some reason they just can't sort it out. I was told over a week ago that a 'specialist' team was looking into it and I would hear from them within 3 days - 9 days later I still haven't heard anything.
They did refund my delivery charge so I give them credit for that.
I'm just so disappointed and FRUSTRATED. I was so looking forward to receiving my purchase. I have purchased one dress (which I love) last year but I was lucky to have a pick up point near my old work place. I thought next day delivery would be just as convenient but I was wrong. If you have a choice, I recommend you COLLECT the purchase than pay for delivery (if you can).
I've never really been a fan of online shopping but this has just put me off online shopping again. Whilst I do like some of the dresses Very has to offer, I am inclined to find them elsewhere before I make a purchase from Very again.
I'm sure this problem I've had won't happen to everybody (but from what I've read it happens frequently enough), if it does happen to you, its enough to make you rethink online shopping.
Just received a damaged tumble dryer, after waiting ages for a delivery date. I have to be inconvenienced by waiting for a replacement (at least they waivered the delivery charge after I complained) and I won't be credited until they receive it back so my balance will be afffected. They blame the suppliers. I blame them.They supplied it to me. So Leon O'Donohue - customer service manager - start helping the customers instead of inconveniencing them! And trying to charge them for it!
Everything I ordered arrived, if it was out if stock i was e mailed.Then always told of expected delivery date.can't fault them.BNPL is fantastic...........nothing negative to say ! Great selection of goods, quick friendly helpline,what more do you need?
Spotted fridge freezer for £189.00 with10% off for 1st order managed to set up account but computer crashed. Next day went on line to complete order but item had gone up to £199.00 so phoned very. Spoke to a representative explaining what had happened and asked could I have the item for £189.00 plus10% discount and was told yes. I also explained that I needed the item to be delivered to a rental property we own so would require a call before item is delivered in order to give me time to get to the address, told this was not a problem and he would look to see if a delivery slot was available. He then gave me a slot for the 1st may and said I would be contacted a couple of days before the delivery with a time slot. As I had heard nothing by the 29th April I rang very again to confirm a delivery date, this time spoke to a girl who told me my slot had not been booked and delivery would be the 8th may. Although not happy agreed to this again reiterating the need for a phone call before hand.
On Tuesday I received a text message telling me my online statement was ready to view. I logged into my account only to find an outstanding balance for £225.00 even though I had only ordered the fridge freezer . Alarmed by this I promptly phoned very, it was 10pm by now and spoke to somebody in South Africa who called himself Simon , I explained all of the above to him but was made to feel like a liar, he disputed I had placed the order on the Friday insisting I had placed it on Monday, even though I had an email confirming my account had been sent up on the Thursday night when my computer crashed. He said they would adjust my account and I could have the item for £199.00 minus the discount, I said this wasn't good enough as it had been agreed I could have it for £189.00 and I would like to speak to a manager. I was told one wasn't available but somebody would call me the next day. Next day arrived no call, so I called them, this time I spoke to dan in first order department who at first didn't want to deal with me as I had contacted the wrong department. Dan did however sympathise with my situation , checked my account and said it had been adjusted and I would be charged £199.00 minus the discount, again I said this wasn't satisfactory and I wanted to take the matter further. Dan said as somebody else had adjusted my account it was being dealt with and I would receive a call from this person and I should discuss the matter with them. Guess what no phone call.
To add further insult I phoned today to check the status of my order as I am still waiting to receive phone call from delivery company to arrange tomorrows delivery. Told by Joanne that although the status of my order says my item is in delivery hub in Wigan it may not go on the van and that I may receive call tonight or in morning or may even be given a different date altogether and I should go online and check track my delivery. What an absolute fiasco, my advice to anybody thinking of ordering anything like this from very should forget it and order from Argos instead, they phone you before the delivery with a time slot and phone again on the day to confirm. As far as the price discrepancy I have emailed their PR Manager and am awaiting a reply but won't be holding my breath.
On my first order from them I ask for Saturday to be my delivery day. The time reads 7.30-21.00 for it to be delivered. It got to 21.10 and I still hadn't received anything after waiting in the entire day. All they could say was, "they delayed it, for no apparent reason, the next available day is Tuesday and we will refund you the delivery charge". Not good enough. I had to get them to rearrange it for the Saturday because that's my only day free. Refunding my charge, which was only a fiver I might add, doesn't come anywhere near giving me a day back. Appalling. I would've much rathered to leave my house and enjoy the sun. At least a text to say it won't be delivered on the day I asked would've gone a long way. But instead I lost a full day of gorgeous weather in front of the idiot box waiting for a knock at my door. It was like being a kid and getting grounded.
Very poor online service, I am a student in newly built student accommodation and the post code did not register on the site therefore could not send it to my own address. Also it required a home telephone number of which I do not have as I am in student accommodation as well as requiring information relating to where to drop my parcel however you have to select one of the given options, which did not apply to where I live. Very frustrating service and needs to be reviewed. Will not use again.
I have ordered many things off very ranging from electronic goods to clothes and never had a problem with them at all, everything has been to a very high standard and I always receive confirmation of when I will be receiving my goods. Will continue to use very.co.uk
Would give no stars but isn't a option. I bought a hoover and after first use wouldn't work again only had the product two days . Rang the company for a replacement to be told I had to phone the manufacturer which I did to be told by them that I should just returm the item .I told them they wouldn't take it back till i got a reference from them. Then phone very back up to arrange a collection got told a date for someone to collect it . I then waited awhole day for someone to collect it and no one turned up so wasted a whole day . Then phoned up again to be told I should take it to a collection point . So I will nevrr be using them again

they set the delivery date to the day after i moved in
the day before, i got a text telling me my delivdry was due to arrive in 20 minutes
i rang the delivery company to tell them of the error and there was no delivery booked for that day
i rearranged the date for the following week, but when that date rolled around, nothing
rang the delivery compnay to find out why, and my delivery date had not even been booked in
rearranged the date again, only to receive another text informing me that the table was due to arrive on a day i was at work, rang them again to say 'no, i told you when i was free' rearranged the date again and they told me theyd ring me the following day with information as to why this had been happening
following day comes around and
no phone call
ring them again, for them to tell me that they wont be able to deliver on the day they said and that instead it would be arriving the weekend i was away
so it would have to come up as a failed delivery and be rearranged after that
ive finally, possibly, got a delivery date, over 2 weeks after the date which they initially promised
however that date has still to come and im sure many more failures are yet to come
I ordered quite few longer length trousers, which are at 35 inches long a rare find in larger sizes in todays marketplace. They arrived quickly, all complete with accurate paperwork. I returned some dresses and tops which didn't suit me and received a quick refund onto to my credit card. I had home delivery and took them back to a local store for collection so didn't experience any issues as read about on this site.

I went to collect my order but did not have the code, I came home checked my email and wrote the order reference down went back to collect my parcel to be told it was the wrong number, I can back home and checked my emails wrote down the numbers I had and went back again I was told there where the wrong numbers. I called and was told I didn't have an account it took about 10 mins to find my account to be told you had sent an email with the code on. I can assure you I have not received an email. I no longer want the order.
New customer - so had to make an account. The system would not accept my house name at all, and I couldn't proceed to the next page with the correct one, so had to delete some of it. So now my package was going to be sent to my address but the wrong house name.
So I decided to call the customer service line. Which was a bit of a nightmare, as they couldn't change my delivery address - I wouldn't call that good customer service.
I was told to hope for the best - and if it wasn't delivered the following day, to call them back.
I paid £3.95 for it to be delivered the next day - and guess what? It didn't. I ordered from this website as it promised next day delivery - perfect, as I had an occasion I wanted to wear it for that evening.
It arrived the following day (too late) - but it did find it's way to the right address.
I won't be ordering from them again so my wrong delivery address can stay as it is, I won't be paying £3.95 for that pleasure again - back to ASOS I go.
Ordered a set off Ladders on April the 1st Was given a Delivery Date of the 18th April, Still waiting with no Word on why the Delay, When called to Investagate, told it will take 21 Days to sort out where the Ladders are at Present.
Totally not acceptable as I was Depending on Order so to complete an urgent House Repair Job, Now had to cancel this work at my Expense so Not a good Company Exprince, Very Poor Service, Bad Delivery, No Good customer Service, Its going to be 2 month since ordered, Never had this before from very a way received the items on time but now the one time we urgently need this item you don't produce the goods,
Still trying to get house Repair finished, Will need to Hire Ladders at a great Expence, So why Did I spend £169 on ladders from very if not getting use of them for Job. So will think again now about buying from Very, Will need to Use Amazon to Buy My Goods, So very will loose Good Custom if the was amazon they would have a replacement sent out next day and looked into what went wrong. Not a Happy Customer.

I ordered my daughters a xbox and kinect. As a surprise, the communication was outstanding, a text to say its on its way, then another to say it was being delivered. And an hour later it was , I also got a call to check its up and running ok, thoughtful and attentive , this is the first time. I have come across excellent customer service , keep up the good work, highly reccomended one Very happy customer :)
Just thought I would share my secret with you - found the perfect shopping experience! Looking for some petite blouses & jackets and stumbled across the Very website. What a choice of clothes for work, casual and special occasions! Thought I'd try them out! Amazing - I placed an order for a couple of work jackets, couple of tops and a pair of trousers and although it stated next day delivery I was prepared to wait a few days but NO they turned up the next day. The trousers were too short so wanted to return them. Went on line booked the collection, followed the instructions and the driver turned up and took the goods away. Even better, completely unexpected was the telephone call to tell me that my returns had been received back the money had been refunded to my card. Absolutely no hesitation in using them again!

I bought an acer laptop on the 21st of January at £329 on take 3 payment .which arrived the next day but turned out that the dvd drive in the pc didn't work, so phoned them numerous to be told to phone the supplier, who then told me to send it back for repair, waited for the collection which took them 3days, never came to collect it when they said they would anyway. item has been for repair and back to me today and surprise SURPRISE the computer is now damaged with a huge scratch right across the middle of my screen and several awful scratches and dent on the laptop in addition the dvd drive doesn't open properly and when closed, is not aligned properly. phoned very immediately to let them know and ask them for a replacement as I was not happy with the state of the laptop and they told me to contact the supplier again and I did but they only apologised and said I should ask for a replacement to very so I phone very back and they were putting me back and forth to different department. Then was told that I can send the laptop back and they will place a new order but I would not receive a refund on my account until they inspect it, then was informed that the price has now gone back to £499 which will debited to my account a they cant honour the price as it has gone up considerably? WHAT? So now I left with a faulty and damaged product which I still have to pay for or my credit rating will be affected. but I have taken advice with the consumers right and I will definitely fight my case .NEVER EVER SHOP WITH VERY IF YOU DON'T LIKE BAD SURPRISES.
I ordered and received my discount at checkout, within minutes an e-mail had been delivered into my in-box and the very ( LOL) next day my order, which was complete had been delivered.....I call that an excellent service!
