In a nutshell - booked a short break to Barcelona, impressed by the Hotel description, only to discover when docs were downloaded that the hotel I thought I booked was in fact not the Hotel I was going to. This was because two different hotels were advertised as being one and the same. I of course contacted the sales team immediately, spoke with a rep on the phone had the hotel changed to the one in the description,but was charged the luxury of 35 euro for this action (plus the additional cost for the Hotel) I emailed customer service requesting a refund of 35 euros, received a very curt email from Mary! who pointed out that it was clearly two different hotels !!! and I'm presuming by inferring this, Mary means that I should have known this, well Mary I' didn't pick this up in the advertisement as I was under the illusion that as a professional operation Low Cost Holidays would match the hotel on sale with the correct details. More to the point some 5 days after my complaint the advertisement still remains unchanged which to my cynical mind indicates that Low Cost Holidays are quite happy to mislead unsuspecting customers like myself who didn't go through the advertisement line by line with a map in hand. I have re-emailed Mary pointing out that she confirms the ''error'' in the advertisement, but failed to mention if I would be refunded the 35 euro - No reply as of yet

I have checked in online today for our upcoming week away next Sunday (15th Dec) to celebrate the end of my training at uni to be a nurse. When I booked online it stated that baggage was added & we have been charged for this, however, when checking in online with Ryannair today it states no baggage has been added. Luckily I printed off every screen shot while I was in the process of booking as have never used your company before, always used a package company. Please could you advise me ASAP if hold luggage has been added & if not what have we been charged for then???

I booked a hotel with lowcostholidays and paid in advance only to find when i arrived that the booking had not been made even though they sent me a voucher.
The first night of my holiday i had to find and pay for another hotel since the hotel that i originally booked was full and tried on several occasions to contact them but each time i got no response so waited till i got back to england.
On my return i phoned them and also emailed them a copy of the extra charges i incurred an still have had no satisfactory response.

I used Low Cost holidays for the first time was a little apprehensive as I always book a package holiday but I got all the service and saved money by booking with these. The flights and accommodation were all great the transfers were no problem at all. So all in all I saved money but didn't sacrifice any services. Would definetly use these again.
Jeg er lige kommet fra Tyrkiet . Ikke engang specielt billigt 3000 for en uge. Uden for sæsonen. Hotellet var lukket, dem der boede der grinede da jeg kom. Jeg havde bestilt all inclusive fordi jeg ikke er rask og skulle skrive på hotellet. Fik ikke mad de første 24 timer if herefter 1-2 sparsomme måltider dagligt i en uge. Efter stort Press på dem der boede der, som jo ikke var på job, da stedet var lukket! Ingen rengøring, iskoldt vand i hanerne, ingen løs mad eller drikke jeg ku tage hele ugen. Jeg gik rundt og fandt toilet papir på de andre rum. Ringede lowcostholidays efter 24 timer. Fik fat forskellige folk der bad mig vente. 3 dage efter blev jeg ringet op med tilbud om at få pengene retur!! ( og stå på gaden i Tyrkiet) eller flyttes til et mindre hotel med 2 stjerner. Dvs muligvis værre end der jeg var. Jeg valgte at blive. Mega utrygt i et fremmed land når jeg nu ikke ku komme ud. Er desuden kvinde og rejste alene os derfor afhængig af mad på hotellet. Mega telefon regning !!!!! På grund af samtaler til Sverige Og Danmark og England , mange 100 oveni prisen . Helt uacceptabelt at de sælger rejse hertil! Jeg har ikke gået checket om den stadig er til salg! Det er ganske enkelt ikke i orden og jeg var mega syg dernede og på vejen hjem bla pga ingen mad og dårlig mad og ingen drikke og for meget nødder og chokolade på værelset! Da jeg sku hjem var hotellet låst af så jeg ikke ku komme ud. Min bil holdt udenfor. Jeg måtte løbe rundt og råbe kl 4-5 om natten for at vække en af dem der boede der, men IKKE arbejdede der!! Jag köpte en resa av er med bokningsreferens #####Detta var menat bli en trevlig resa med min dotter 16 år, mitt livs första solresa.Vi lämnade Arlanda 25/6 kl 13,55 efter mellanlandning i Istanbul fortsätter resan för att landa planenligt i Antalya 21,15. Vår SNABBTRANSFER var inte på plats, efter ca 30 minuter pratar jag med en annan transfer firma som vänligt nog ringer vår transfer som instruerar oss att vänta!, ytterligare en timma senare har 3 vänliga transfer förare ringt vår transfer och ytterligare en skickat sms till dom och alla med beskedet "VÄNTA DE KOMMER", ca 20-30 minuter senare anländer en minibuss som vi finns med på listan till, med andra ord ca TVÅ timmar sent. Färden går i ca 5 minuter för att stanna efter vägen vid en annan buss och plocka in passagerare från den till vår buss, färden fortsätter i ca 1,5 timme med en chaufför skrikandes i telefonen på turkiska till en bensin mack där vi inväntar en annan buss som de lastar över vissa av passagerarna från vår buss till, skräckfärden fortsätter i ca 30 minuter då stannar chauffören för att ha matrast!!! "TEN MINITS" sa han som blev ca 20 sen fortsätter färden på samma sätt till 3 hotell där passagerare släpps av. Vid sjunde stoppet skriker chauffören GURAL och jag följer med men då vi står vid nått annat hotell så vägrar jag ta mina väskor och hämta dottern som chauffören tecknar med händerna.Jag ska till KLEOPATRA GURAL hotell sa jag(på engelska), efter gap o skrik mot mig och personal på det hotell han stannat vid pekar han argt på bussen och jag stiger in och han kör runt ett tag för att stanna framför en tom byggnad utan skyltar eller nått som avslöjar var vi är skriker GURAL och ska kasta av oss mitt i natten utan nånstans att sova. då ser jag en vakt från en byggnad längre bort som det visar sig kan LITE engelska som säger att hotellet gått omkull och finns inte!Jag ber honom kontakta polisen då jag är desperat nu,,,, står hungriga utan hotell med en 16årig dotter i turkiet mitt i natten. Polis anländer fort men kan ingen engelska och vakten tolkar bäst han kan. Då sticker vår buss efter chauffören ringt nån som förklarar argt för mig i telefonen att "DE HAR KÖRT OSS, DERAS UPPDRAG ÄR SLUTFÖRT" och lägger på luren. Vakten ringer några samtal så efter ett tag kommer en bil där chauffören ber oss följa med bort från polisen och prata, vi ställer oss en bit ifrån men med polisen i synfältet då jag nu är mycket rädd för vad som är på väg att hända!Denna person säger sig jobba för de som äger hotellet nu, och vill att vi åker med.Jag tvekar men får tala i telefonen med nån som säger sig representera hotelkedjan som köpt GURAL och säger sig ha rum för natten i ett annat hotell.Vi kommer dit och blir omedelbart avtagna våra pass och strax efter 3 på natten får vi ett rum och blir bjudna på personalens nattmat av dessa trevliga människor. OBSERVERA att hela bussresan sker i rasande fart och alla i bussen studsar omkring på sätena, jag väger 100 kg och slog i huvudet flera gånger och hade väldigt ont i baken efter resan, dock glad att det inte fanns några små barn på bussen då de hade skadats allvarligt när vi studsade fram över kantstenar eller vad det nu var.Ingen av oss kom till ro o kunde sova denna natt! På morgonen pratar hotellchefen med mig och konstaterar att han inte kan se vår bokning vare sig på gural eller nått av deras andra hotell och kräver att jag kontaktar min rese agentur, från min egen telefon ringer jag Lowcostholidays och står i kö oacceptabelt länge innan nån svarar, jag pratade med Berit som motvilligt berättar att hon heter Kjelland i efternamn, förklarar situationen och ber henne lösa detta då vi är helt strandsatta, jag ska undersöka detta och återkommer!!! men gör det till hotellet säger jag då det är dyrt att ringa!! jag kan maila svarar hon!.Vi får sitta i hotell lobbyn till nångång mitt på dagen innan hotellchefen för säkert tionde gången kommer till oss men denna gång säger han till oss "ni får stanna här!". Lättade äter vi lite lunch och går till rummet helt utmattade både psykiskt och fysiskt mycket prat och funderingar senare lyckades vi somna nångång på em/kvällen och sov till morgonen därpå. Jag anser detta förstört hela vår resa då detta hela tiden självklart hängt med oss hela tiden, ingen gång känner vi oss säkra "är det rätt nu? Kommer de kräva oss på nått nu? kastar de plötsligt ut oss?" dessa tankar och fler kom hala tiden över oss. Den 1/7 säger hotell personalen "jaha sista dagen idag". EHHH nä vi åker 3/7 sa jag, efter ett tags diskuterande säger han "ok-ok i fix it"BARA STRUL FRÅN BÖRJAN TILL SLUT!!!.Jag kan inte se att vi fått vad vi betalat för och kräver ersättning av er för detta.
EFTER 2 månader fick vi 210 kr i ersättning för transfer förseningen och de anser att vi faktiskt fick ett bättre hotell än vi betalat för.

I booked a return transfer to the airport in Cancun, the bus never turned up to collect us. When we contacted the office from our hotel they admitted the mistake and told us to take a taxi to the airport and it would be refunded. When we contacted the help desk on our return home we were told to log a complaint. We did this however two months later we are still fielding emails from lowcost holidays advising that they will not refund the taxi fare.
Is this a scam whereby you pay for the bus and a taxi and they keep the money.??
This company booked our holiday without fuss or bother. They got a good price for us at what we know is a difficult hotel to get a booking. The fact that we were able to travel to Las PalmTas on a daytime flight at a convenient time was a bonus since we live a long way from the airport. Because one of us is disabled we needed assistance to ensure we had help at the airport and on the airplane and this was provided by phone to make sure we got it right. In this respect we would like to mention in particular Andrew Charlton, who through sensible and pertinent questions together with quick research to find answers was able to arrange our needs in a friendly and confident manner, Thanks for that.

Most of the negative reviews are made through bad choices made by customers regarding accommodation. You will not get 5* when only paying for 1*???
Recently Low Cost Holidays changed their holiday protection from ATOL to a cover endorsed by the Spanish government.
Concerned by this I contacted low cost ans after discussion, exercised my right to a full refund based on the change of protection. Having little trust in the company, I called back the next day (Saturday 9th November) to double check the refund amount, this was confirmed as £1079.
Today, I have received a refund receipt for the amount of £628.80 which is £450.20 short! An absolute disgrace.

I Booked A trip with LowCost Holidays and what I realized is that there is a lot of false advertisement on their page. Please be sure to double check on a different source where in the country/city the hotel actually is before you book with lowcost holidays. They will advertise something as "inner city" only for you to find out it is not even in that city at all. Then when u call them for help they want to do nothing for you "NOT EVEN transfer you to a appropriate hotel" I found out from others that this is a regular thing with them. They advertise something to catch your attention and then once you are at the destination they leave you stranded or tell you "you must pay extra" for anything else. They told me if I wanted to move to a hotel in the city (which is what I asked for in the first place), that I will have to book again meaning they were going to just take my £120 pounds and expect,me to pay another £120. I will NEVER recommend or use this company again even if they offered a discount because I will always fear the uncertainty.

This was very close to feeling like a scam, they refused to communicate, explain chargers, said they were additional charges because our card had reached its limit , utter nonsense -we put in a voucher code from vouchercodes.co.uk which was accepted on the site but refused in final payment, they suggested I was making uo "stories" This is the worst company i have ever used, every call is 10 per minute they keep you waiting as long as they can. I have sent in two complaint letter not reply.
I asked to speak to manager , was refused, they are appalling in their customer service. I think the staff (who are human just like me) have become resigned and cynical from having to deal with so many complaints, My first call i was put on hold, no kindness empathy or understanding. Booking ref 6490702. Don't trust this company. I haven't even gone on holiday yet and I'm stressed. I'm going tomorrow thu 14 nov and I just checked us in on line and says no baggage included when it clearly said on the website and the woman who sold it to me that luggage was included. Spoke to a 'did I wake you up?' Woman called Vicky to query this. She told me luggage was not included. She spoke to her supervisor and they will have to listen to the conversation and get back to me at some point although I fly out tomorrow morning. Thankfully I recorded the conversation and have a screen shot of what was bought and clearly said luggage included. No reassurance that someone will call me today, no apology for any inconvenience. I had to ask whether she had my number! Now I'm going to be fretting and worrying all day. She said go ahead and write the review so I did. Please don't book with them. I thought I'd take a leap of faith and go with them as I'm planning to take more trips away with my boyfriend for valentines and for our birthdays in April but no chance. I should have stuck with thomas cook. Lesson learnt. I don't normally care to write reviews but this one had to be written. First break in 3 years, hasn't even started yet and it's going wrong. Was on the phone for 12 min and nothing was resolved!
Thank you for replying Marc. I can confirm I called her not the other way around and Just so you know, she didn't go through any customer security check with me. I just listened to the conversation again. Thanks for pointing that out and another reason why people shouldn't trust you. She asked for the booking reference and that's it. I'm sure the data protection team and information commissioner will be interested to hear this. This will have to be a separate complaint to them about information assurance.
Anyway I had to interrogate her at the end of the conversation as to whether she had my number to call me on. I've also sent an email to the customer relations containing the screen shot of the holiday booking and what was included i.e. luggage!
I wish to express that Andy Charlton was very professional and very understanding dealing with my call today. I was feeling extremely stressed before I called, but after I spoke with Andy he reassured me not too worry and that he would solve my problem which he did. Just returned from what should have a nice week break with the wife, only to have our holiday ruined before it started. I am not one for posting reviews on blogs etc but I am so angry that if this stops one person from booking a 'Holiday from Hell' with LCH than I have achieved something.
Alarm bells rang when, on route to the airport I received an email that LCH had transferred its business to LCH Spain and the holiday would be managed through LCH Spain; in addition I was told that this transfer meant that the ATOL certificate was now invalid and if I wasn't happy I had 7 days in which to lodge a complaint. Too late I thought as I had just checked in! But hey, what could wrong? Upon arriving at our hotel late Fri evening I was informed that I was unable to check in as the agent had not paid the hotel and were not allowed to check in until full payment had been received. Apparently I was not alone although this did little to pacify my extremely emotional wife. Although the receptionist was sympathetic to our plight she was unable to offer assistance as I tried to contact customer services on a Fri evening! I eventually got hold of CS, who to be fair were very patient with my over officious attitude, they were reluctant to deal with my complaint as I wasn't in resort. No s##t Sherlock, you didn't pay the bill. Eventually after a couple of very stressful and expensive phone calls I was able to get the CS to speak direct, in a common tongue to the hotel receptionist and eventually payment was authorised from a supervisor in Mallorca? Guess what, the computer said no! This happened a couple of times, different card numbers, same outcome. The only other option open to me and tearful wife was pay for a minimum period of 3 days whilst I pursue the issue with LCH or sleep outside. Luckily it did not come to this and I am not sure who he is or what role in LCH he has but thank you Paul Dickens for coughing up on your credit card. It should never have got to this and I will be pursuing compensation for phone calls and the emotional roller coaster your company but us through. It wasn't until the day we left that we relaxed!! my hotel closed and I was moved to another hotel not where I wanted to be, upon me contacting low cost they moved me again. My new hotel is great falcon naama star . I realise unforeseen problems can happen on a holiday and I more than happy with the response from lowcost.

to fly 2000 miles and not receive a room or a bed is bad enough but they dont even want to respond to a letter of complaint 2 months after i have sent it. how can you not to expect a complaint when no room or bed is given. customer services told us that night is there a chair to sleep on. when i pointed out that i wanted the rooms i have paid for - answer was - well thats not going to happen is it !!!!!
at the least i want my money back for the 2 rooms i have paid for and have not received. never mind all the other complaints i have had during this holiday.

Dear Sir / Madam,
I am offering you the chance to offer myself compensation before I take my case to trading standards or even watchdog. I have never and I do mean never had a problem to this degree, with a holiday that I have booked with anyone, but I have now booked twice with your company and my experience I have had with your company means that I have really got to think about using you again. At least this way, it will give you a little chance to redeem yourselves.
I realise that you must get a lot of complaints from people that, just think they can complain about really nothing, but how can you expect to not get complaints when you don’t even receive a room or a bed that you have paid for.
I booked a week’s holiday in Rhodes, with your company around a year after I last booked with yourself, (to go to Rhodes). I had problems the last time I booked with you, but I thought I would give you another chance, as these things do sometimes happen. So I decided to book with your company again and booked a week in the Koala Hotel in Kolymbia.
I had read some mixed reviews some bad and some not so. But people tend not to make a review if it’s an ok holiday, but do if it’s a bad one. I watched a video on “you tube” of your company showing off this hotel and I thought it looked nice. How wrong could I have been, the video must be around 4 years old as, I can see it looks clean, the roof is still on the canopy and the sun beds look new.
We arrived at the airport, checked in ok, flight fine, arrived on time, the transfer we had to wait 45 minutes on the coach, for another plane to land, a little frustrating having to wait, especially as you have been travelling all day, and arrive late into the night, but I guess that’s just the way things are with the transfer, then we arrived at the hotel.
Eight of us got off the coach at the Koala Hotel. (Not all booked with low cost holidays). Out of the eight there was only one room between the eight of us, and we were given that, even though we had fully paid for two rooms. Then we were told that there were only three beds in the room for the four of us. So where is the fourth person going to sleep? Two other people were taken to another hotel and the other two people, had to find a room of there own, in another hotel at there own cost. I realise you are not concerned about the other people because they haven’t booked with your company but this point needs to be made, as to the way they are booking people in this hotel.
I told the receptionist that this was not good enough as I had paid for two rooms. I wanted the two rooms that I had paid for in good will. I have gone aboard for the first time with my mother and father in law, so it’s not fair for you to expect them to sleep in the same room as me. Ok if we were all teenagers or in our 20’s, but you cant expect elderly people or anybody else really, to be treated this way. He firstly offered us the staff accommodation but told us that he wouldn’t recommend it. So he telephoned the manager.
The manger said to the receptionist that he hadn’t got another room and we had to wait until tomorrow. He refused to speak to us and when the receptionist handed me the telephone he just hung up on me. Now that what I call customer service.
I got out all of the paper work and called the customer help line, I explained our situation, only to be spoken rudely by a woman named bobby. She asked for me to pass the telephone onto the receptionist. But the receptionist just told her that he hadn’t got a room for us and couldn’t do anything. The receptionist then gave the phone to myself and when I said that that I wanted the two paid for rooms, she told me, well that’s not going to happen is it. She then asked me to give the telephone back to the receptionist. The receptionist told her the same story and then the receptionist then gave the telephone back, but this time to my father in law.
My father in law was told then by bobby that we would have to wait until tomorrow to get the problem sorted. He then pointed out that we had the problem now, not tomorrow and where were we going to sleep tonight. She then asked my 70-year father in law, to sleep in a chair if there was one in the room. (There was no chair in the room anyway, please see enclosed pictures). She then told him that it was just an answering service and asked for his telephone number. She said that someone would call him the next day about our problem. He then pointed out that what is the point in having a number to call, when you do absolutely nothing about the problem in hand. He then gave his telephone number and even now we are still awaiting that telephone call!!!!
The staff in hotel never offered us a blanket, mattress or even a pillow and expected us to just lye on the floor. As we were placed in this position we went down to the bar to discuss what we were going to do. As it was after 11 o’clock, we had to pay for our drinks. I think the least they could have done is offered you a drink because of the position that we were placed in. Lucky for us, an English guest said that he had a spare bed in his room, and offered us their mattress. (Funnily enough this man had the same problem when he had arrived). So we took the mattress and put it in the middle of the small room, between the two beds. This now meaning that, even though it was yourself that had put us in this situation, we had to find a solution ourselves without any help from yourself or the hotel staff. This also meant that we all were going to be in a small room together, in that heat. Nobody could get undressed because of the situation that you had placed us in. it isn’t morally correct, to have your son-in-law naked in front of your mother-in-law or the other way around.
The heat of four people, in that small room was unbearable, in that heat, with no air conditioning to cool down the room. I don’t think anyone slept a wink. Please see the pictures of the room enclosed.
The next day again we went to reception to ask about our rooms. We where then told that they didn’t know what time we were able to have another room because if anyone had booked a late check out, they would have been given the room first. I told them that there was no way; I was accepting the room that we had been given in the basement and asked for two rooms on the first floor. Later we were told that we could have two rooms on the first floor but it wouldn’t be ready until around 12 o’clock. At 2 o’clock we were then finally given two rooms on the first floor. At last our holiday could begin after losing the first night and most of the next day.
We were given rooms 117 and 120. In room 120, the toilet didn’t work. I thought no problem, I will just tell them on passing though reception. After asking them three times to fix the problem, the lady at reception said all she could do was place it in the book for the next day. The next day we went for breakfast and on passing though I thought I better remind them of this new problem. It was later in the afternoon I noticed that the toilet still hadn’t been fixed so at around 2 o’clock I thought I had better tell the receptionist, or else I would be waiting another day. She then telephoned the maintenance man and this was finally fixed 24 hours after I had reported the problem. Five times, I had reported this problem. There were also other plumbing problems throughout this hotel, with ourselves and other guests complaining of not having hot/warm water to shower in. Also the lights throughout the week kept on tripping out for a few minutes but then coming back on. The wiring for the lighting was sticking out of the wall. No way would have this past health and safety in this country. This hotel should be closed down until all repairs are done, and standards and management changed.
During the week, talking to other holidaymakers, there were more stories about people not getting rooms at this hotel and being sent to another hotel. This must have happened at least a dozen times during the week. Let me make this clear that this is not an over estimation. At least three of those parties have booked with low cost holidays, so expect their complaints soon. You can’t expect people to travel two thousand miles and not to be given a room or in our case, a room missing and also a bed to sleep in.
All week there was constant smell of sewerage around the pool. Even a rat came though a drainage hole to the bar, picked up some food on the floor, and then went back though the hole. Please see pictures of the back of the hotel. No wonder there are rats. It’s a dumping ground at the back. The outside chairs are dirty and sun beds and other chairs broken. These should be scrapped, as they are a danger.
This is all-inclusive with a twist. You never get a room when you arrive, the food some days is no better than pigs swill although some days ok. Your Internet site states, cake and biscuits at 4 and there was no snack bar at all. No sprits until after 5 o’clock, well, its 6 o’clock. There were no fridges in any of the rooms, asking other people as well and you couldn’t upgrade to pay for one. No wi-fi as it was broken, but you could pay for the Internet on their computer. (How convenient). Tea/coffee/juice machines kept breaking down. Dinner service plates, not 1 plates the same (unprofessional).
This is a real life faulty towers. I am giving you the chance to reimburse us for the room I didn’t get and compensation for all of the faults with this holiday, also the treatment I have received. How can you still take bookings for this hotel, when you know of all the problems people receive are beyond me? It’s a disgrace. You got to see it to believe it.

One of our party couldnt go on holiday at the last minute ( father had a number of major heart attacks) and had to cancel, so the booking was duly amended online.
Two weeks ago on returning, we chased them up for a note saying she didnt go on her holiday....to pass on to her insurance.
After numerous phone calls to low Cost Holidays, we are still waiting for this note/email.
They state its the suppliers that are holding back....frankly this is not my problem.
Rather disappointed with the aftercare, and as of yet still no reply!
Vi er nettop kommet hjem efter en dejlig tur til Malta. Vi havde ikke læst om Blue sea st Georges’s park & La Valette Resorts i St Juoians inden vi bestilte.
Personalet var flinke i receptionen og der var pænt rent. Lejligheden var desværre ikke som forventet.
Der var en stol og en taburet,- dem flyttede vi ud på altanen,- der var nemlig ingen møbler der. TV’et var fjernet (andre fortalt at det var ligegyldigt da der ikke var signal)
Køleskabet var tændt og virkede som varmeovn. Så det var ikke muligt at bruge det.
Hvis I vil have et troværdigt omdømme dur det ikke at I anbefaler et 3 stjernet hotel der er i så ringe en forfatning. Vi kan efterfølgende se at der har været klager over dette (og andre af jeres anbefalinger) gennem sommeren.
Det var uden problemer at tjekke rejsen ud, betale osv. Info var også OK. Så vi kan godt finde på at rejse gennem Lowcostholidays igen- men vi er bekymret for hotelstandarden fremover...
Vi er lige kommet hjem fra ferie på Kreta. Vi fandt rejsen med all inclusive på nettet, og bestilte uden problemer og uden betænkligheder. Hotellet, Golden sand, levede for så vidt op til vores forventninger. Maden var god, og i rigelige mængder, men personalet virkede en smule trætte, nok fordi det var sidst på en lang sæson. Værelset var fint, og rengørings standarden var i orden. Malurten i bægeret var manglende service i baren. Udgåede varer som burde være der, f.eks is til børn og barnlige sjæle. Men alt i alt en rigtig god ferie, med afslapning i solen og aftenhygge i baren med andre gæster. Rejser gerne med low cost igen, og anbefaler det gerne til andre.
Paid in full for a holiday to Lanzarote with Lowcost holidays... apartment with sea view only to be told 3 weeks later we couldn`t have a sea view but we can have 15 euros i think this is unacceptable first time ever i have booked with this company
Reservation 6479240. Recently booked a family holiday for next year,was very concerned after reading the reviews if thus holiday was actually real and would go ahead. However after repeatedly emailing @LCH and Low cost beds ,I was immediately assured that all the details including rooms ,price quoted and dates etc are all correct and booked.I can now relax and look forward to my holiday next year. I was concerned at first booking hotel desperately to my flights but it saved me money and I had no problems at all! Details emailed on time and hotel was exactly what I wanted - it was the cheapest deal out of many low cost sites will use again ;)))
I have used Lowcost Holidays now for the last 3 years to book a yearly trip for a party of 6 people to Spain. They have always offered a competitive price and have given me a good service. Two of our party this year had to make a separate booking many months later and Lowcost arranged (as far as they could) for us to all be given rooms in our hotel on the same floor. When we got our hotel this had been noted and rooms allocated on the same floor. I shall shortly be looking to arrange next years annual trip and will have no hesitation in looking at using Lowcost first.
I've used lowcostholidays two or three times now, as have some friends and am pleased to say we've never had any problems. Competitive prices, good selection of accommodation and cheap transfers. Will definitely use them again

During the summer (july) I went on a week holiday to Barcelona. I had booked with Lowcost holidays.
I had paid 51.66 euro to lowcost holidays for transfer from the airport to the hotel upon arrival and for transfer to bring me and my partner from the hotel to the airport on the day of departure. The transfer company resorthoppa had infact refused to bring us to the hotel as the hotel was situated too far from the airport. I have been in contact with Resorthoppa and they have assured me that they had emailed lowcost holidays informing them of the cancellation. Lowcost holidays failed to contact me to inform me.
Lowcost holiday website and the documentation regarding my holiday that was emailed to me from lowcost holidays names the hotel as ' Sidorme Barcelona-Granollers in Barcelona Inner City'. However, the hotel could not have been further from Barcelona city.
When I arrived in El Prat airport , I went to the meeting place for the transfer company and waited for almost an hour. I was then informed that the tranfser company had no booking with me. I was forced to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost me 100 euro.It was 12.00 am. During my holiday, I was in contact with lowcost holidays four times. I was told that the 51 euro would be in my account before the holiday was over. I was also told that a taxi would be organised and paid for by lowcost holidays from the hotel to the airport on the day of departure. However, the taxi never arrived and the man I had been speaking with did not get back in contact with me and once again I had to pay 100 euro for a taxi from the hotel to the airport.
I was in contact with a woman in lowcost holidays and she promised me that the money would be in my bank account in a few days. I was also promised a phonecall and an email regarding the money I am owed. I received neither a phonecall or an email.
I made another phonecall and the woman I was talking to said there had been no notes made about any of my recent phonecalls. The last phonecall was allegedly on the 23rd of July although I had been calling lowcost holidays frequently over the summer. This is an absolute disgrace.
I emailed lowcost holidays on the 15th August and received an email explaining it could take up to 6 weeks or more for the issue to be resolved.
I still have not recieved any of the money I am owed from lowcost holidays. I will give this company two more weeks before I bring the issue further.
Although I got a good deal on my holiday, it was not worth the hassle.
I have used this company before without a problem. However, this time I paid the balance of my holiday (by immediate internet banking) but was unable to verify it on their 'my bookings' part of their website, as the website was down. The following day I was telephoned and informed that they had cancelled my booking as I had missed the deadline. Although I explained that it had been paid, I was told that I had not verified it on their website and a cancelled booking could not be reinstated. At my request, the operative then put me through to customer services, although she must have been fully aware that they were closed for the day. This holiday was to celebrate a significant birthday and we were supposed to be leaving in 3 weeks: I cannot describe how upset and disappointed I am with this company.

Bookingprocessen var nem, og vi fik det vi havde betalt for. Da jeg skrev en mail for at høre om også transfer var betalt, fik jeg svar inden for 1 time, hvilket er super god kundeservice.
Jeg kan kun anbefale at booke igennem lowcostholidays, da det virkelig er meget billige rejser.
Helt personligt kunne jeg godt finde på at smide lidt ekstra penge efter en quick transfer næste gang, men det må være op til den enkelte at bedømme om man synes dette er pengene værd :-D
I tried to make a booking online during the night hours with Last Minute.com, but apparently it didn't work because I entered my card number incorrectly!!!!!!!
I called them the next morning to do the booking over the phone, and was told that the price for the flight had magically gone up . I had paid the extra money for the flight and still this was not enough and there was no call back from them to say if any problems, but that their flight booking service was not working.
They were supposed to call me back and update me on the situation but they did not.
I phone them again the next they and they wanted more money. The lady on the phone said that it was because Easyjet puts the price up, and as the holiday was to be done in few days time and if asked for refund I would not have been able to book another holiday as the refund takes long time to come back but the money is taken immediately from your account when booking. In other words they hold your money and your family at ransom.
According to a lot of reviews the prices keep on going up and down!
This is not acceptable and it destroys you just when you want to get away on holiday.

I have spent few sleepless days before going on holiday and incurred almost extra £100 in extra charges for the flight and phoning the company.
I have paid the extra charges in protest and I found that the customer service does not want to know about compensation when I have complained.
It seems that this is occurring with many other customers and this is not an isolated case. Therefore no more bookings for me with this company and this will be advised to my friends too.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Beware if your considering booking with this outfit,
They do not sell holidays but separate components such as flights, transfers, hotels etc. They act as an agent for each booking which they buy from THEIR choice of separate suppliers. Each supplier has their own booking conditions which you are bound by plus Low Cost holidays adds their own booking conditions which you are also bound by on top.. All is well if it goes to plan, but should your plans change or you wish to make an amendment to one or more components you will find they treat amendments as cancellations and impose huge cancellation charges which they say are from the supplier but your not allowed to know who the supplier is , they then add their own charges . In addition to that you will hold for ages on the phone at 10 pence per minute plus call charges. When your call is answered you will be met by Ryan Air style customer service where the general behaviour is to Rip the punter off and they don't give a dam if you book again or not. Do your homework and read the online reviews to find a website were your custom is valued. You can do better than this lot.

If your not into ripping people off can you explain the following -
Why does your company charges 10 pence per minute plus call charges just to speak to you ?, What is wrong with using a phone number costing your customers just the call charge ?
Your company buys its accommodation from Lowcostbeds, a company within your own group but registered in Switzerland , you publish their booking condition in your terms and conditions which is fair enough, It turns out in my case however that Lowcostholidays purchased through Lowcostbeds who purchased through another supplier which your customer service agent told me customers are not allowed to know who they are as its confidential. WHY ?
It is however the booking conditions of this third company down the line that I am bound to or so you say. From what I have been told these are very different to what is published in your terms and conditions.
How is the customer going to know if the charges your quoting are true if they are not allowed to know who's charges they are ?
I have been doing my homework and discovered who my supplier is. The third company down the line and the supplier of my accommodation turns out to be a company called Holiday Brokers who as you know supply accommodation to the trade, they allow agents to cancel and amend advance bookings without charge .This information has been confirmed to me by competing dynamically packaged online holiday companies like yourself.
I have no problem with you as an agent charging your amendment fee for your time. but loading conditions and fees YOU are not incurring I feel is ripping people off.
You say that you never wish for your customers to feel ripped off, well they do.!
I have looked through many reviews online going back over the years and the same complaints reoccur , and the same response is written how sorry you are and how you will help if you supply your reference, Are YOU all not tired of your customers complaining ?

Booked online with this website twice in the last 3 years traveling to separate Greek islands. No issues and cheapest holiday found. You get what you pay for when booking with a very cheap website. Used this website if your looking for a cheap holiday. Go to a travel agent if you want to pay a premium and get first class customer service.
